These are Vitamix approved demonstration recipes that all demonstrators will make at the demos (* means it is a recipe that may not be demo'd in your region) If you can't find a recipe that we personally mentioned or made, it probably wasn't part of the official demo - you can find all our personal recipes by scrolling down!) *pictures coming soon*

Green Smoothie
1 orange, with pith
1/3 banana
1 inch chunk pineapple, with core
2 cups spinach
1 slice lime, with rind
sweetener to taste
1/2-1 cup ice
(no ice needed if using frozen fruit)

Blend on high speed for 1 minute, or until ice is melted

Strawberry-Banana Freeze
1/3 cup agave/sweetener
5 strawberries
1 whole banana
a few baby carrots/one carrot
2-3 cups ice

Blend on high speed until smooth, but still frozen
*Double amount if using low profile 64 oz container

Frozen Cappuccino/Iced Frappe*
2 cups milk (dairy or nondairy)
1 heaping tbsp instant coffee
sweetener to taste (we use less than 1/4 cup agave in the demo)
5 baby carrots/1 whole carrot (opt)
pinch of spinach (opt)
1/2-2 cups ice

Blend on high speed until smooth
*Double amount if using low profile 64 oz container
**Try adding a cup of oats for a fuller beverage

Four Fruit Juice
1 orange, with pith
1/3 banana
1 inch chunk pineapple, with core
4-5 strawberries
a few baby carrots/one carrot (opt)
sweetener to taste
1/2-1 cup ice
(no ice needed if using frozen fruit)

Blend on high speed for 1 minute, or until ice is melted

Secret Veggie Sorbet #1
1/3 can 100% white grape juice concentrate (or other type)
1/4 cup baby carrot OR spinach
1 whole banana
2-3 cups ice

Blend on high speed until smooth, but still frozen
*Double amount if using low profile 64 oz container

Chocolate Avocado Ice Cream*
3/4 cup milk (dairy or nondairy)
1/2 ripe avocado
1/4 cup cocoa powder/hot cocoa mix
sweetener to taste
2-3 cups ice



Blend on high speed until smooth, but still frozen
*Double amount if using low profile 64 oz container

Green Juice*
1 cup coconut water
1 gala apple
1 inch chunk pineapple, with core
2 cups spinach
slice of lime, with rind
sweetener to taste
1/2-1 cup ice
(no ice needed if using frozen fruit)

Blend on high speed for 1 minute, or until ice is melted

Secret Veggie Sorbet #2
1/3 cup agave/sweetener
1/4 cup baby carrot OR spinach
1 whole banana
2-3 cups ice


Blend on high speed until smooth, but still frozen
*Double amount if using low profile 64 oz container

Easy Tortilla Soup
1/4 cup baby carrots
1 rib celery
1 roma tomato
1 clove garlic, unpeeled
1 tbsp taco seasoning
3 cups broth


Blend on high speed for 5-6 minutes if using cold water/broth, or 1-2 minutes if using hot water/broth
Add in pinch of spinach or herbs and blend on speed 3 or 4; top off with tortilla chips

Wakeup Veggie Juice
6 ribs celery
2 roma tomatos
1 garlic clove, unpeeled (for colds)
juice of one lime
1 1/2 cup ice
2 cups greens

Blend on high speed for 1 minute or until ice is melted

Lazy Smoothie
2 1/2 cup frozen mango
1 cup spinach
1/3 cup water




Blend on high speed until juicy

Whole Carrot Juice
1 cup green grapes
1 or 2 carrots
1 cup ice




Blend on high speed until ice is melted

Budget Friendly Green Juice
1/2 orange, with pith
1/2 cup green grapes
1 cup greens
slice of lemon, with skin
sweetener to taste
1 cup ice

Blend on high speed for 1 minute until smooth

No-Filter Almond Milk
1 tbsp blanched or silver almonds
OR 3-4 tbsp almond butter
1 cup water
1/2 cup ice
sweetener to taste
opt flavoring: sea salt, vanilla, etc.

Blend on high speed until ice is all melted, about 1:15

No-Filter Rice Milk
1 tbsp cooked brown rice
1 cup water
1/2 cup ice
sweetener to taste
opt flavoring: sea salt, vanilla, etc.


Blend on high speed until ice is all melted, about 1:15

Cough-B-Gone Lemonade
1 whole lemon, with some skin
1/4 cup honey
1 sliver ginger
1-2 cups water

**you can create triple the recipe WITHOUT the water and blend on high speed until smooth - you can keep the mixture in a mason jar

Blend on high speed for 5-6 minutes if using cold water; blend 1 minute if using hot water

Alan and Joe's Margarita
2/3 can white grape concentrate
1/2 lime, with some skin
1/4 pineapple chunk, with core
6 oz pineapple juice
Add spirits or 1/2 cup water





Blend on high speed until smooth,
but icy

Julie's Whole Fruit Margarita
1/2 orange, with pith
1 to 1 1/2 inch chunk pineapple, with core
pinch of spinach or greens
1 lime, with nubs cub off and some skin
sweetener to taste
1/2 to 2 cups ice, for consistency
Add spirits

Blend on high speed til smooth, but icy, or to desired consistency

Simple Margarita Mix
1/4 cup agave
1 whole lime, with some skin




Blend on high speed until liquidy; Add in spirits with 1 - 1 1/2 cup ice to turn into frozen margarita

Strawberry Margarita
1/4 cup agave
1 whole lime, with some skin
2-3 strawberries
1 to 1 1/2 cup ice
Add spirits

Blend on high speed until smooth and icy

Will's Piña Colada
1/3 can coconut milk
1/4 cup agave
1/4 pineapple, with core
juice of 1/2 a lime
1 1/2 cup ice

Blend on high speed until smooth,
but icy

Orange Fool-ius
1 orange, with pith
1 lime, with little skin
3/4 cup milk (dairy or nondairy)
1/2 tsp vanilla*
2 cups ice

Blend on high speed until smooth and icy, or until desired consistency
*We use vanilla flavored milk to make it easier!

Avocado Shake
1/4 cup condensed milk
1 1/2 cup milk (dairy or nondairy)
1/2 avocado
pinch of spinach
2 cups ice (more for consistency)

Blend on high speed until smooth and icy, or until desired consistency

Desserts

**Double all ice cream/frozen dessert recipes if using low profile 64 oz container; use tamper if necessary**

"Tiny Hiney" Cashew Ice Cream
1/3 cup cashews (roasted works best)
1/4 cup agave
2-3 cups ice

opt flavorings: 1 tbsp baking cocoa / 
1 tsp vanilla / 1 tsp mint extract / 1 tsp almond extract / 2 tsp instant coffee / or replace ice with frozen fruit and a little lemon juice

Blend on high speed until smooth, but frozen

Chocolate Mint Ice Cream
1/4 agave
1/4 cup cashews or slivered/blanched almonds
a few drops of mint extract to taste
a pinch of baby spinach for color
2 cups ice (or just enough to freeze)




Blend on high speed until smooth, but frozen; Turn off, add 1 tbsp cocoa powder in middle of vortex; Blend on high without tamper until half brown/half green to look pretty

Banana Whip Ice Cream
3 ripe bananas, peeled and frozen
 

opt to add: 1/3 cup coconut milk /
1 tsp vanilla / 1 tbsp toasted coconut / 1 tsp almond extract / 1 tbsp cocoa powder / other frozen or fresh fruit



Blend on high speed until smooth, but frozen

Green Apple Sorbet
1/3 can apple juice concentrate
1/2 cup spinach
1 banana
1 slice lemon
2-3 cups ice

Blend on high speed until smooth, but frozen

Soups

Butternut Squash Soup
2 cups peeled butternut squash
1/2 stick celery
1 small carrot
1 small garlic clove, unpeeled
1 tsp sea salt
squirt of honey or 1/4 apple
1 cup water

Blend on high speed for 6 minutes
(1 minute if using hot water)
opt: Blend/pulse 1 pinch spinach/herbs on speed 4

Sweet Potato Soup
1/4 sweet potato, chopped
1 stick celery
1 small carrot
1 small garlic clove, unpeeled
squirt of agave or 1/4 apple
1 tsp sea salt
1 cup water

Blend on high speed for 6 minutes
(1 minute if using hot water)
opt: Blend/pulse 1 pinch spinach/herbs on speed 4

Easy "Canned" Tomato Soup
2 roma tomatoes
1 celery stick
1/2 carrot stick
1 small garlic clove, unpeeled
2 tsp salt or 1 veg boullion
1 squirt of agave
2-3 cups water

Blend on high speed for 6 minutes
(1 minute if using hot water)

opt: Blend/pulse 1 pinch spinach on speed 4, top with shredded cheese

Other Favorites

Basic Nut Butter
4 cups dry roasted nuts
**6 cups if using low profile 64oz container**

Try: honey roasted peanuts / half almonds and half pecans / half almonds and half cashews

opt flavor: pinch of sea salt / squirt of honey (drizzle halfway in container as well as top off with honey in storage container or else mixture might thicken)

**CONTAINER, LID, AND TAMPER MUST BE BONE DRY

Blend on high speed, use tamper and blend until smooth
Add nuts on low speed for chunky
**After pouring as much as you can out in your storage container, turn the stuff leftover into nut milk by adding in 1/2 cup water and 1 cup ice, blend til ice is melted and store in fridge.

**To clean - blend RIGHT AWAY using HOT WATER for clean up

Basic Salsa/Guacamole
(using our demo ingredients)

1 medium clove of garlic
2 roma tomatos
a pinch of spinach
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp taco seasoning
1/2 avocado (for guacamole)

Start machine on speed 7 and drop garlic through the lid while machine is running to mince; turn off
Cut ends of tomatoes and squeeze out all the liquid and seed from tomato (so the end result will not be liquidy/mushy)

Add in tomato, spinach, salt, and taco seasoning run machine on speed 3 or 4 to chop into mixture
Add in avocado and pulse on speed 2 to keep chunky, or until desired consistency

Whipped Cream
1 cup heavy cream
sweetener to taste

Blend heavy cream on high speed until sound changes, should be less than 10 seconds

To control whipping, start with speed 5. Remove lid plug and slowly turn speed to 8 or 9 and watch consistency through the lid hole until desired consistency is reached (this is mainly for meringues to prevent overwhipping)
